She was born in Thessaloniki. She studied law at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki and pursued postgraduate studies at the George Washington University (Washington D.C., USA), where she obtained an LL.M in Patents and Intellectual Property Law. From 1999 until 2018 she worked at the Hellenic Data Protection Authority as legal expert and coordinator of the private economy sector. From 2011 she is a registered ethics evaluator of EU-funded research projects at the European Commission. She is experienced in providing business-focused legal advice on issues of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and ethics. She is practicing law in Athens since 1989. She speaks English and French.
